Dr. Paul Chedraoui
General Dentist & Owner
“Dr. Paul” graduated from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 1979. He passed the Quebec and National Board of Canada exams and was a part-time faculty member at the Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry for six years. He speaks English, French and Arabic.
Dr. Chedraoui has been practicing at Coquitlam Centre Dental Clinic since 1988. He is married and has five children.
Dr. Dana Behan
General Dentist & Owner
Dr. Behan graduated from Universite de Liege Belgium in 1989. She passed the National Board Exam of Canada in 1991 and speaks English, French and Slovak.
In her free time, Dr. Behan likes to spend time in Hawaii with her husband and two children.
Dr. Lina Ng
General Dentist & Owner
Dr. Ng graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1986. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1990. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Dr. Ng has been practicing at Coquitlam Centre Dental Clinic since 1992. She is married with three children.
Dr. Angela Lai
General Dentist
Doctor of Dental Medicine. Graduated from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. Her undergraduate studies in UBC were Pharmaceutical Science (Pharmacy). She is a certified in ACLS provider (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), which is emergency training for advanced medical professionals. She ensures both adult and child patients have positive and anxiety-free experiences during each dental visit. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
She is proficient in performing extractions and general dentistry with oral sedation and nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) inhalation sedation. Dr. Lai attends various study clubs and advanced training courses throughout North America which include such topics as root canal treatment, gum grafting, orthodontic dentistry, sedation dentistry and implant dentistry. She has been practicing at Coquitlam Centre Dental Clinic since 2002.
Dr. Nariman Amiri
Prosthodontics (Implants)
Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics (Implants)
Dr. Amiri is a graduate of the University of British Columbia in dentistry and is a board certified specialist in prosthodontics from the University of Iowa.
In addition to working two Saturdays a month here, Dr. Amiri works full-time in his state-of-the-art private practice in Vancouver which is dedicated to prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is also a part-time clinical professor for graduate and undergraduate clinics in the Department of prosthodontics at UBC.
Dr. Amiri is the organizer and principal mentor for two study clubs and lectures extensively in meetings and societies including UBC Continuing Education.
Dr. Pouran Rostamian

Periodontal (Gum) Services
Dr. Rostamian practices periodontal treatment (gum-related surgery) and oral surgery. She registered with the College of Dental Surgeons in 1999 and is a clinical instructor with the dental faculty at UBC. Dr. Rostamian speaks English and Farsi.
Dr. Rostamian holds an interest in archaeology and ancient world history.
Dr. Peyman Safari-Pour

Dr. Safari-Pour has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. He has extensive experience treating a wide range of dental problems, including a particular specialty in root canal therapy. Over the last fifteen years, he’s treated over 20,000 root canal patients!
Dr. Safari-Pour has worked across a number of hospitals, private clinics, and government dental clinics, where he dedicated himself to treating low-income patients that struggled with their oral health.
Dr. Jay Lam

Raised in Delta, BC, Dr. Lam earned a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia.
Throughout his education and early career, Dr. Lam received numerous awards for his academic aptitude and community involvement, including the prestigious Dr. John Blatherwick Award in 2011, the Carlos Carrillo Memorial Community Service Award in 2015 and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Outstanding Senior Student Award in 2016.
He has been on exchange to Korea and Japan, and on an oral surgery externship in New York. Dr. Lam serves as a mentor for dental students, and intends to continue his services as a clinical instructor in the future.
In his free time, he enjoys skiing, dancing, and walking his dog.
